- Please quickly achieve the gospel-based unification of liberal democracy so that North Koreans in the North can also enjoy freedom and human rights. Above all, please allow them to enjoy freedom of religion so that they can believe in Jesus and be saved.

North Korea enacted the "Youth Education Guarantee Law" in September 2021 under the pretext of eradicating "non-socialist and anti-socialist" youth and establishing them as pillars of a socialist future. However, this has not been effective. The "Youth Education Guarantee Law" regards appearance as a symbol of an individual's ideological and mental state and has been cracking down on young people for the past four years. However, a look at the reality of North Korea's youth reveals that (1) despite the strengthened crackdown, young people actively embrace new changes in clothing and hairstyles, such as short skirts and magic straighteners, and pursue their desire for self-expression. (2) The unhesitating use of South Korean expressions such as "jagiya" (darling), "oppa" (elder brother), and "daebak" (Amazing!) at private gatherings demonstrates that the Korean Wave has already taken a deep root in North Korean youth society. (3) They also frequently visit fortune tellers and rely on superstitions. These behaviors are not tolerated in North Korea, a monolithic system of leadership, and are prohibited under Article 41 of the Youth Education Guarantee Law. (4) With the deepening economic crisis and changes in social perception, the number of young people who refuse to register their marriage through institutional channels and choose common-law marriage or cohabitation is increasing. (5) Although the import, production, copying, storage, distribution, and viewing of “impure publications and propaganda materials” are prohibited, North Korean youth continue to devise ways to avoid crackdowns and consume foreign videos and South Korean culture. The current situation in which the control of laws and institutions created by North Korea for the purpose of maintaining the regime clashes with the resistance of young people is interpreted not as a simple deviation of the North Korean youth generation, but as a crack within the system.

- Although the North Korean authorities enacted the "Youth Education Guarantee Act" in September 2021 with the aim of eradicating "non-socialist and anti-socialist" views among young people, North Korean youth continue to consume foreign media and South Korean culture, avoiding crackdowns. May the youth and residents who have been exposed to foreign cultures fervently yearn for the gospel-based unification of liberal democracy, and let the South and the North pray together with one heart for the speedy realization of gospel-based unification.

- May all anti-human rights laws currently in effect in North Korea, such as the Act on the Rejection of Reactionary Ideology and Culture (2020), the Act on the Guarantee of Youth Education (2021), and the Act on the Protection of Pyongyang Culture and Language (2023), be repealed. May the North Korean authorities move toward a society that respects the people's fundamental human rights, including their right to know, the right to pursue happiness, and freedom of expression.

- May the youth of South and North Korea not rely on superstitions out of anxiety about the future, but may come to know God the Creator, and may they live blessed lives that glorify God by discovering the purpose of their creation and their identity as children of God.
